Rare Leaf uses a café-colored wrapper leaf grown in Nicaragua’s Jalapa region, a double binder of criollo 98 tobaccos from two different farms, and a filler that is mostly Nicaraguan-grown criollo 98 with a bit of corojo 99 as well. Rare Leaf will be the first project using selections of tobacco in short supply that will be maintained in regular production. In order to achieve this, Rare Leaf will be available only to Aganorsa Leaf Select retail partners.
