Guáimaro is a brand whose roots are in the same place as Esteban Disla’s, Sergio Cuevas. Disla’s mother first worked for Sergio at Tabacalera Cuevas & Hermanos in the Dominican Republic. He and his brother began working for Cuevas and eventually the two would move with Cuevas to Nicaragua to help start the Toraño’s Nica Habano factory in 1997.
Disla would then become chief of production at Latin Cigars S.A., which was known for producing CAO and Toraño cigars, and is now called STG Estelí.
In 2011, he became a partner at Fabrica de Tabacos NicaSueño S.A., the Estelí-based factory best known for producing the RoMa Craft Brands, producing some of the hottest cigars in the boutique cigar market. As well as creating incredibly flavorful cigars alongside Skip Martin and Mike Rosales.
The Guáimaro delivers notes of dark chocolate, earth, and black pepper, and remains very smooth on the palate while delivering rich flavor. Medium to full body.
